/data/data => /datadata almost full due to .... SIMPSONS Tapped Out ! :(

Hi Laurent,

First of all, this is mostly a user driven forum, so aiming your question to the game developers here and asking them to point the game's data files to another directory won't do much.

Secondly, about your problem: if this folder is on a removable memory card, like a (micro) SD card I would just consider upgrading this, since 400 something MB is a really small amount of memory these days.

So I would recommend: upgrade your storage and then see if you can use this as your 'data/data' folder. (Google something like "galaxy s move games data to sd card")
  • Thanks.

    Now I start to understand why games are somehow failing on so many devices ... 316 Mb data for 1 game... uh ....
    anyway...

    I can't switch the 400 MByte device, since it's actually a partition, created by system when flashing, on portion of internal flash memory of the phone.

    So only solution is likely the googling you proposed. with the usual issues of mount/unmout failure when connecting USB to PC.... but if that can free up my /datadata and get the other applications work again .... let's try.
    (Or get Cyanogen updated to have more space on /datadata .... at the cost of less space somewhere else ...)
