You don't need it to progress to anything so buy it when you have the money (or want to add it to your Springfield).

Cool. Thanks . That is the plan. Krabappel is going to keep me busy for a while. Just glad I was able to get Xmas lights installed on her apt before this campaign ends. As I said in another thread here, I am totally leaving the Xmas lights on The Cletus Farm and The Nelson shack all year long (if I can).
Now I just have to over contemplate whether or not to wait until after the next update ( whenever that is)...as it looks like building prices drop considerably as time goes on / new ones are added.
