Do I really need the Post Office?
You don't need it to progress to anything so buy it when you have the money (or want to add it to your Springfield).

With the lag time between updates, just buy the post office and put it in, you'll have lots of time to rebuild your cash. I'm at level 24, all land bought, and have $6.7 million. Cash will not be your issue.
