Channel 6 will be 138500$. Library = 24h, then a short task 10min, followed by Milhouse clean school (2x) = 2x 12 h, finally Edna teach class = 8h. So still 2+ days to go. I'm in the exact same situation. So, on saturday I'll be watching the news.

Personally, I don't think XP's carried over the last time for the very reason you imply. There were people who were capped at 22 and waiting for 23 for ages -- certainly long enough for at least some players to have maxed out at 23 immediately after the content drop. Yet I didn't hear of this happening to a single individual. I also know that I was one of the many people who started out with around 30K in XP. I admit to not making an accurate estimate of how many XP's I had accumulated after maxing out, but I know it was far in excess of 30K.

I think they simply give you a head start for playing the game and being maxed out at level 23. People who aren't maxed out probably don't get the same advantage. If there's a content update coming up, I'll check on the XP on my 2 Springfields . One is maxed out at level 23 and the other is only at level 17. So if there's any difference I'll update. :)

I noticed this though, I think they made adjustments to the max XP from level 17 onwards. Because when I leveled up from level 16 to 17, the max XP for level 16 to get to level 17 is 22,250 but the max XP for level 17 to get to level 18 is 21,560. anybody else notice this or did my eyes play tricks on me?
