...and GB (Great Britain) is made up of three countries, England, Scotland & Wales.

What I learn; I always though the terms Great Britain, England and United Kingdom were interchangeable. I know my Irish grandpa was not at all fond of GB but maybe he didn't realize there were some he may have liked.
