I agree berrygr8. I am passionately pro-constitution and while I don't care for the NRA or their tactics, I'm pro-gun and find this new set of quests insulting. Last I knew, the Simpsons writers were largely right-wing politically, so I'm kind of shocked to see this. Even if it were making fun of the other side of the gun debate, I find this kind of dialogue inappropriate, and such political commentary seems out of place for the Simpsons. South Park, yes, because its humor is largely satire....but the Simpsons, no. The Simpsons rely on character humor and this line of writing isn't character driven at all. This writer is using the game to advance their personal political agenda. Unfortunately, they are signing their death sentence for their writing career. Especially with the Simpsons, where they've had 25+ years to adequately flesh out the characters. None of this quests writing fits with any of the characters used. Sign of bad writing!
