I have bumbleman (paid) and Hans (free) but not Otto, I would choose Otto also, you get a premium character that an go to Krustyland and a building that pays cash. Hans can also go to KL. But a paying building is the best choice

I have Hans and Bumblebee Man.

One consideration might be that Bumblebee Man gives you a 24-hour task for Channel 6 News. Hans gives you a 24-hour task for the Open-Air Stage, if you have that.

If you're in need of 24-hour tasks for those buildings, that might be a factor for you.

From a purely financial perspective:

Otto & School Bus

School Bus generates $300 every 12 hours. That's $25/hour.
Otto's most lucrative task generates $60 over 30 mins, which is $120/hour.
His least lucrative generates $1000 over 24 hours, which is $41.66/hour.

So, this purchase will generate you $66.66 - $145 per hour.

Hans Moleman & Bumblebee Man

Hans's most lucrative task generates $105/hour.
Bumblebee Man's most lucrative task generates $26 over 10 mins, which is $156/hour.
Their least lucrative tasks each generate $1000 over 24 hours, which is $41.66/hour. (Notably, Hans's least lucrative task requires the Open Air Stage.)

So, this purchase will generate you $83.22 - $261 per hour.

So I suppose the most financially lucrative purchase depends on your play style. If you can't check in often, Otto is probably a good bet. If you can often do hourlies or better, Hans & Bumblebee have a higher yield.

It really depends on what your selection criteria are :)

I wouldn't get either of them...yet.
I would save the donuts for Christmas since its almost here.
You never know what limited time items it will bring, and you can get Otto or bumble/Hans anytime.
You can only get the Christmas stuff in December :-)

You could always wait for Christmas to see what kind of goodies show up then; non of the characters you mentioned are going anywhere. If you are set on your choice of Otto vs. Hans & Bumblebee Man, I'd go with Otto. :)
