Smithers exercising for Mr. Burns glitch
Yes, it's a glitch that existed on occasion before the Whacking Day update and has become more common after the update. Unfortunately there's nothing to do but wait for EA to send a patch out to fix it.

- OMG!! Yes! This is so annoying!!! Totally started right when Whacking Day update came out. I realllllly hope they fix this soon I'm losing money by making Smirhers do stupid 4hr long task.
