This is a great tool thanks. The thing that concerns me is the global thing. I get the idea from the counter that 5,000,000,000 will only get the first prize and then it's going to go up for the next one. I say this because of the arrow above the item. Is there any way of this being found out?

So far I have been leary of sending characters on tasks to get GOO in case they are triggers for the walkthrough. Good to know homer is the main trigger. Having said that is it wise to send the other characters on such tasks? Are there any other tricks to get GOO faster?

What about the Attic "gifts"? Most of my friends claim to have already found the dumbbell today, but after two hours for sucking up ghosts I've yet to find it. Is there a specific ghost that has to be tapped?

Ahhh, I see, so you did not receive 10 free donuts AND the skin? I guess if you get it right the first time you receive 10 free donuts and the Homer skin. But it if you miss the first time, it allows you to guess until you are correct and then receive the skin.

No you should tap your haunted houses ASAP. Nothing happens if you leave them longer other than someone else could double haunt and take your reward.

Any idea what the Vac-U-Bot Vacuum Tool does?

I got the required Goos, but cannot figure it out. I have been trying to find it, use it, and / or figure it out and I haven't got a clue.

Ideas?

Other than just visiting friends you need more friends. Just go to add me thread and if you want after the event delete them. It does take time to visit a hundred friends but you get a lot of goo, up too 1000 per day. And If even half of them visit you that is 6 goo per visit and some gremlins you can tap for 2 goo each. It is conceivable to get 1500 goo a day.

The guide is big help, just have the question re whether I need to leave my buildings untapped (to collect $$) for a ghost to appear to neighbors.

Thanks for that, the answer was from the Sunday special, the game makers did not make provisions for us in the UK. We dont get Fox. So posting the answer was a great help, apart from that loving the new update and the free stuf.
