Have you tried completely uninstalling the game from your device and reinstalling it?

No I didn't, I was going to have city hall done in the morning and was afraid to lose everything. But if thats what I have to do to play again I will. Before today and didn't have a user name and password so I was afraid nothing would save. Thank you for the answer.
