"Fighter Update" always fails and corrupts my game on PS5
The fighter update always fails and so i cannot play online but thats not the biggest problem, when it fails i play offline for a bit and then close out of my game, once closed out, if i start my game it crashes at the very first loading screen every single time, so i would say its corrupting my game in some way. I have tried every work around, starting in safe mode and rebuilding data base, clearing cache, deleting saved game data, restoring licenses, Ive tried all and in every different order you can think of. The only half fix I have found is completely deleting UFC 5 and completely reinstalling it, once thats done, i can load the game up the first time like normal, but as soon as the "download fighter update" pops up, i then click "update", to which it fails, over and over again as i keep retrying it, im locked out of all online modes and even the challenges and fight weeks and then like clockwork, i play until bored, close the game, i come back eventually and start the game, BAM! It crashed on the first loading screen, i then try all the steps and work arounds you can think of, none of which work like i stated earlier, then im back to dleting and reinstalling just to play a bit offline since i cannot play online. Playstation has been contacted by me and many others, to which they state that everything on their end is fine and has been checked and to contact EA, but EA wont answer, and yes EA, my PS5 is cleaned as I got the Spider-man 2 limited edition console less than a week prior to your game coming out, This is not a Playstation problem, a dirty console problem, a botched console problem, an internet problem, or any other problem besides the game, this is a UFC 5 and EA problem. Many and i mean many of us are having this very same issue, you can even find quite a few in your own forums, all the way from reddit to quora. You guys have alot of work to do, but theres thousands maybe more who literally have game breaking issue, some of which cant even play the game at all since early access, people are pissed and frustrated because many purchased for $100 strictly for early access who then couldnt even access the game their 3 days early, hell, they cant even access the game now and its been out 3 weeks. Please and i mean really please look into to this, people dont care about dumb cosmetics, dumb fighterer updates and alter egos, we care about being able to play the damn game or to even get in the damn main menu atleast. Atleast answer the post of mine and others and acknowledge these issues so we know this is getting fixed and worked on. This doesnt look great. I guess we are gonna have to get the reporters to bring up these issues to Uncle Dana in another Post Fight Interview. Rant over.
