Matt Devalles Text Message Bug

After getting ranked and fighting once, I chose a fight with a fighter I had a good relationship with. Then Matt Devalles will send a text message saying no one wants to see that fight and you cannot respond. It basically locks you in that screen and you have to close the game and reopen it. Unfortunately there is no way around this that I have found. I cannot progress on my career mode anymore. By the way i spent $100 to get this game.
