You may need to go the extra way to super mega clean your console.
Take the fan out (be careful of the wires) and blast the heatsinks with a can of compressed air held vertically (so no liquid comes out).
My PS5 was about to be replaced before I did this and all has been well since.
So...clean the vents, fan blades and as much of the heatsink as you can get to with the compressed air.
Thanks.
- @kingcully81 The Liquid Metal on your PS5 could’ve “dried” out not allowing for good contact with the heat sink. If you are unfamiliar with Liquid Metal and how to handle it, it would be best to find a shop to handle it. Liquid Metal is conductive and can lead to shorts, that could kill your ps5.
@kingcully81 I am having the a similar issue. During fighter walkouts, bruce buffer introductions or in-between rounds/cinematic replays my PS5 will display a temperature alerts "Your PS5 is too hot. Turn off your PS5 , and wait until the temperature goes down." If I don't skip these cinematic scenes quickly enough my PS5 will shut off. I wish EA would investigate. We are not the only consumers with this problem.
I agree there are lots of people having this issue, I'm having the same issue on cutscenes, menus and replays where the PS5 overheats i get that same message even after the latest patch ...
Definitely a Software issue on UFC 5 that EA needs to fix as any other more demanding game plays perfectly fine how is this game different ?
- @KUNZ-OG Mine is having the same problem too
