PS5 shuts off during UFC 5. Game is UNPLAYABLE. Please fix.

To whom it may Concern, 

Currently UFC 5 is unplayable on PS5 for myself and many other users. Either during fighter walkouts or in-between rounds/cinematic replays I receive a minimum two temperature alerts before my system untimely shuts down. I was hoping patch 1.002 would fix this problem however it didn't. 

I tried getting a refund with Playstation and this is what they informed me

"My best recommendation is to contact the developer since we have verified in our end that everything was purchased correctly and that there is not any error with your console since those alerts happens just with this game. It seems is an internal issue with the game and the publisher will be glad to help you since possibly they will need to solve the issues internally with the game."

Please look into this. My PS5 is the Digital Version (No disc) and I downloaded the UFC 5 Digital Edition on PSN. I noticed another user had a similar issue; EA_Barry told them to clean their console. However, my console has been cleaned. This issue seems to be software related. Please investigate. Thank you for your time.

    As of November 2024 still overheats after 2 rounds totally uncalled for and I keep my console pristine👌So please tell me why this is still happening after a year?

    So I just booted UFC5 up again still overheats after a round or 2 played Spider-Man 2 for 2 hours no issue then tried UFC5 again guess what it overheated it’s defiantly the games software

    @EA_BarryYeah It does the same then with me ufc 5 doing cutscenes and entrances ps5 message saying ps5 hot and that’s the only game I have that does that. Sometimes the the console shut down

    I am experiencing the same issue. All other games on my PS5 are playable.

    The system is clean, well ventilated and in an open area. The funny part is the console isn't even warm when it shuts down.

    This ONLY occurs when playing UFC 5.

    Very disappointing, thought this was a wise pick up while the game was on sale.

    Last EA purchase for me. What a joke.
