Re: UFC 5 Keeps Crashing and is unable to boot up

@8307c07d04f79951 Well i guess if you hear or figure anything out, just let me know, I have filed so many reports on it hoping something would finally fix it. I have heard completely resetting the PS5 could possibly fix issues like this but thats so ridiculous that I would have to factory reset my PS5 just to get this single broken game to work, not worth the hassle or time. If I knew what i knew now, i dont think i would have bought it honestly, Payed $100 for the early access and didnt even get to play early, still cant even play. Very upset with how this has been handled, has to be a game issue as I dont have this problem with any other games. I also think that theres some sort of Bug with the "download fighter update" pop up, it keeps popping up for me but when i hit download it just keeps saying it failed, then it wont let me play online or do the fighter challenges, i feel that it may be connected to the issue possibly, its weird because when the game first came out it wouldnt download the update and after deleting and reinstalling a handful of time, some of my play time it would download it fine, this game is just a mess right now and i dont see it being in a good state for another year or more atleast, kind of like it was with UFC 4.

So I believe I have found the issue with the game. The game works and boots up every time until I download the “fighter update” it fails and I believe it results in a corrupted file. Because everything I have redownloaded the game, it worked until I tried downloading the update 

@8307c07d04f79951 Thats what I was saying too, does your Fighter Update work or does it keep failing? Everytime I try to play online or do the challenges it pops the Fighter Update up and I hit download and then usually spins in the bottom right like its downloading it until it eventually fails, I have sat there and kept trying it over and over but I still get the same result everytime. I dont know why theres noone in EA helping us with this problem, I tagged the EA guy but he never responded so.. Guess we are out of luck until they decide they want to do something. Theres quite a few problems with the game but this is one of the worst.

@8307c07d04f79951 Well, if you just so happen to find a solution one way or the other, let me know, im still pissed about it, theres been so many times I have wanted to hop on UFC 5 and run some online matches and then realize its still botched right now, Sadly i dont really see them fixing it anytime soon, im thinking months from now maybe it will. My question is why tf is EA not in here trying to help us, especailly after there was already a EA employer in here, gave us some tips that didnt work and then dipped, not to be heard from again, I even tagged him in one of my earlier messages. I dont even feel like contacting EA or Sony because they dont really care to begin with and neither will help.

If I find a fix I’ll let you know but I’m just not even looking for them to fix it but I’m just gonna wait for an update for it I guess. I feel like if I had bought the physical copy this stuff wouldn’t be happening. But yeah I don’t look for them to come comment on here again because they know EA released broken games lol

Here near the end of 2024 and my game still has that problem. I get to the start screen and then after I click a button it loads for about 5-7 seconds then cuts to a completely white screen saying “Couldn’t resolve host name” in the top left corner.
