REF STOPPAGES

Couldnt find any answers online about it, so figured id ask here. Unfortunately I didnt get a code for the beta so couldnt find out for myself, nor have seen too much gameplay. But I have to ask, with the new ref stoppage animations, all Ive seen is stoppages on ground. Is there going to be a ref stoppage on the feet? say you are teeing off and opponent is not defending himself or cant and is just getting obliterated. Can I expect ol' Herb Dean to jump in and call the fight? Or is it just ground stoppages?
