UFC 5 Gameplay Is Rigged and Manipulated — I Challenge EA to Explain
In online ranked, I experience extreme inconsistencies in gameplay. In some fights, I’m super fast, can land anything I want, and fight exactly the way I want. In other fights, I’m slowed down, overpowered by my opponent, everything is completely readable, and every transition I try to deny just doesn’t work. Anything that lands rocks me, and there’s a huge delay in all my actions. When I try to slip punches, I just stand there and nothing happens. I don’t want to hear about connection issues because I have giga-fast internet. The game is blatantly rigged and manipulated by EA. They claim it’s to give worse players a better chance, but it’s supposed to be ranked. If players aren’t good enough for ranked, they should play Stand and Bang or Quick Fight. That’s the whole point of having divisions, to separate different skill levels. If you aren’t good, you get moved down; if you’re too good for the division, you get moved up. The fact that they feel the need to manipulate games doesn’t make any sense. EA rigs and manipulates the game to keep players engaged. They frustrate you and play with your emotions so you spend money on the game. It’s rated 2 stars on Xbox, yet they call UFC 5 a success and are building UFC 6 off that “success.” If UFC 6 is anything like UFC 5, I will refund it at launch. The game is clearly rigged. It’s 2026. How does a game they made in 2014 run better than a game made in 2023 on a much more powerful console? I challenge someone from EA to explain the inconsistencies in gameplay. Why am I overpowered by drones that only spam hooks with no skill? Even when I counter them like I am clearly the better fighter, they still run through me and overpower me. Despite me countering and throwing at the right times, I do no damage. In one fight, I landed like 30–40 head strikes in a single round and their head health wasn’t even blinking, and I was fighting for my life, despite them landing less. This is with me having more stamina as well and striking at the right times, when they drain or miss, or after me slipping and making them miss. I was just overpowered. It makes no sense other than the fact it’s manipulation, the game is working in their favor and not mine. There are times where I try to slip punches and I just stand there; my inputs don’t even register. I throw punches and nothing happens, it doesn’t register. I’m completely slowed down. In other fights, I’m so fast I feel unstoppable; I can fight the way I want, and everything is landing and registering perfectly. There’s no way this is in the game for no reason. They’re a billion-dollar company. There’s no way they can’t make a game that performs better than a game they made in 2014. It’s clearly just manipulation. I really don’t know how they get away with it. This manipulation is literally built into the game. I have mountains of evidence. There’s a reason they make you sign the End User License Agreement (EULA) when loading their games; it protects EA from legal action. Otherwise, this would genuinely be fraud. They take your money and cheat you out of wins to manipulate your emotions and keep farming you for money. It’s also telling that the only UFC game with a battle pass and more in-game purchases has the most manipulation. UFC 5 is just the test. Mark my words: UFC 6 will be the real product, with even more manipulation and in-game purchases. Ranked play isn’t fair. You can be Division 10 and fight someone in Division 20. It doesn’t make sense. You should only fight someone in your own division. EA was throttling my matches to find the absolute worst possible matchups. I would only get matched with players with 300+ ping, no matter how many times I backed out or restarted. It would take five minutes to find a match, and opponents would have 300–500 ping. I was forced to play in these matches. People genuinely need to wake up. EA are scum. I genuinely challenge anyone from EA and the UFC team to respond and actually try to explain this because I’ve been facing these issues and inconsistencies since the launch of the game, and I’ve never experienced them in any other UFC games apart from UFC 5.32Views0likes0Commentsin case you were wondering
You have an game that's riddled with cheaters and bugs on every online playstyle. I will never be purchasing another EA game ever again clean up your games clean up the cheaters. Money hungry bottom feeders who would rather leave a hacker or a blatantly exploitable glitch alone because hackers spend money on the game and losers sweat over controllers for days on end using glitches. The very least back when online gaming was good I could call out hackers and speak my mind without worrying that I would be the one getting banned. What a joke I'm out hate the post or agree its the easiest way to call out EA on their BS61Views1like2CommentsThe market is ready for a new Fight Night (Boxing 2026)
Hi EA Team. I am writing to ask for a new Fight Night game. In 2026 boxing fans need a professional game with stable online servers. Other boxing games have many connection issues. EA Sports is the only one that can make a great AAA boxing game. Please bring the series back to PS5 and Xbox. The community is waiting. Greetings from a Spanish fan.259Views3likes1CommentUFC 5 cloud gaming stopped working on Xbox One…
I’ve been playing UFC 5 on cloud gaming for months with my Xbox One console but recently, it no longer starts the gaming session and has a code that reads- cV: olAmvl/gEWpYleqYKdW9FE.1.0 Nothing about my GamePass subscription has changed on my end and other games work. This issue began approximately 3 days ago. According to Xbox Support, it’s an issue on EA’s end. Anyone else having this issue? I play the game daily and even spent money on DLC, but now it won’t even load.1KViews0likes5CommentsCareer Mode Expansion Proposal – “Fighter Life System”
Hello EA UFC team, I’d like to share an idea for improving Career Mode in future UFC titles. Right now, the gameplay itself feels great, but Career Mode feels repetitive and shallow: train, fight, repeat. There’s very little sense of being a real fighter with a real life behind the scenes. This proposal focuses on adding depth, personality, and long-term progression without changing core combat gameplay. Psychological attributes: In addition to strength, speed, stamina and other physical stats, fighters would also have mental and personality attributes such as Aggression, Calmness, Explosiveness, Fight IQ, and Mental Toughness. Aggression would affect pressure fighting and risk taking. Calmness would improve defense and composure under pressure. Explosiveness would control burst damage and fast combinations. Fight IQ would influence how well the fighter reads opponents. Mental Toughness would affect comebacks and resistance to pressure. These attributes would not be leveled only with points. They would mainly be shaped by life events and player decisions. Life events system: During career mode, random or scripted life events would occur and permanently affect attributes. For example, losing a parent could increase aggression and explosiveness but reduce calmness. Finding a partner could increase calmness but lower aggression. Having a child could increase mental toughness but reduce explosiveness. A bad breakup could lower focus and raise aggression. A media scandal could change how fans react to the fighter. This would make every career feel unique and emotionally grounded. Player decisions and dialogues: Add simple choice-based moments such as interview responses, contract decisions, training focus, and how you treat rivals. These choices would influence fan perception, matchmaking opportunities, sponsorships, and attribute changes. This would not be a complex RPG system, just meaningful decisions that shape your fighter’s personality and career path. Fan perception system: Instead of one popularity meter, fans could be divided into groups such as hardcore fans, fans, and haters. Each group would react differently to behavior and results. A controversial fighter might have massive hype but many haters. A respectful fighter might grow slower but gain loyal supporters. This would affect fight hype, pay, rivalries, and media pressure. Career loop example: Weekly progression could look like training, life event, media interaction, decision moment, attribute adjustment, and then fight. This adds narrative depth without expensive cinematics, mostly using UI, text, and stat systems. Why this matters: Right now Career Mode feels mechanical. This system would make fighters feel human, create unique stories per playthrough, increase replay value, add emotional investment, and help UFC stand out from other sports games. Importantly, this does not require AAA cutscenes or heavy production. Most of this could be handled through menus, text, and attribute systems. Thank you for reading. I truly believe this kind of Fighter Life System could turn Career Mode into something special. Thank you, have a great day30Views0likes0CommentsEA wishlist for ufc 6
Besides the obvious : fighter uniqueness , pride mode (with stomps ! Not a reskin like that bs backyard or kumite bs yall got away with) let’s start of with fighter callouts in online fights? Bruce buffer calling the fighters so we can see the fighter animations ? 17-4 from blah blah I wanna see that . Don’t cut it short like how you guys did it in UFC 5 offline mode , real fans wanna see the real thing time to time. You guys updating the records but we don’t even see them in game(as in callouts) . If you’re worried about your short attention span bot player base that wants to jump in matches and fight right away maybe just make it a selection option like you do with weight-classes and arenas in quick play . But for rank I say keep it . (fight logic I want to see improved on fixed in the next game ) • Missed strikes costing more especially big strikes spinning kicks • add back ea ufc 3 clinch system with options to go Thai , double under , over under while standing or against the cage • Give the takedown denial its own input instead having it with blocking body / leg kicks • counter damage/vulnerability increased • Real time clock ? Doesn’t gotta be all modes but maybe rank? • Leg and calf kicks damage slows footwork even after leg health event . switching stances should make the other leg even more susceptible. Getting your leg chopped isn’t just switching stances and you’re fine , it forces players to push the pace or go for a takedown like in real life . • more combo variants that make sense . standing TKOs ? TJ dillashaw vs borao type • get ups costing a bit of permanent stamina, reason a lot of good wrestlers dc and merab let you get up is to drag you back down they don’t do it for no reason it’s force the person (who’s getting up) to get tired from getting up . In ufc 5 I’ll gas out from doing that wrestling grind . You guys punished wrestling grind these last 2 games. • striking speed decrease when under 50% stamina • last but not least increase stamina tax on thrown strikes , hitting the block or missed . Played dudes that’s thrown 40/150 strikes per round and have 80% stamina PUNISH THESE BUMS.134Views1like2CommentsPurchased fighter (S.Miocic) from the store not showing in fighter roster
Good day to all. As the title suggests, purchased a fighter from the UFC 5 in game store with earned coins, but he is nowhere to be found. The fighter in question is Stipe Miocic, his alter ego from his last fight against J.Jones. It has been several days since the purchase, and multiple restarts of the PS5 console. Appreciate the help.40Views0likes0Comments(CAFPLAY)TIPS FOR UFC 6 FROM A OWNER WITH 1100 MEMBERS ON DISCORD
To the EA Sports UFC team, A major reason why the CAF community is struggling in UFC 5 is the lack of evolution in CAF gameplay. The archetype system has been in place for over five years, and many dedicated players are simply burned out. Playing with the same limitations and builds year after year removes creativity and long-term motivation. What the CAF community truly needs is full customization. Allowing players to use their Online Career Mode CAF builds in Invite matches would completely change the experience. It would revive CAF play, strengthen communities, and bring long-term engagement back to the game. I’m a die-hard CAF player and have supported this mode for years. The issue is repetition. The same archetypes, over and over, with no meaningful freedom. Many of us have tried to give feedback, reach out, and explain what the CAF community wants. Unfortunately, it feels like this feedback is either not being seen or not being prioritized. We genuinely hope future titles—especially UFC 6—take the CAF community seriously and allow the creativity and freedom that originally made CAF play special.67Views2likes0CommentsFix The Frozen Screen Glitch
EA_Mako For the past few seasons people do either a white screen glitch or granite screen glitch depending on what side (red or blue) they were on. Sometimes it might be an honest glitch but many "players" use this tactic intentionally, over and over. In fact, the leader boards have people who do this shameful tactic. In a gamebase full of toxicity and exploiting mechanics, this is the lowest of the low. It causes real players to waste time or lose tons of points. Please fix it or at least not let these cheaters get free wins.1.7KViews1like18Comments
