Spivac size !!!

HeyEA_Mako

Why hasn't anything been done about Spivac's size, which has become tiny since the last update 5 weeks ago? The developers were aware of this; they made the same mistake with Borralho last summer but quickly corrected it. Can you please resend the message?

  • Please reset Spivac to his true height. He should be 6ft3 and was at his correct height, and since the February update, he's 6'ft. You've had this information for five weeks. The heavyweight class is already the poorest in the game. Alter egos are good, but not messing around with the fighters in the game, changing their heights or correcting mistakes is also good.

    please fix it

While I understand your concern entirely, I’ve made note of this same issue myself, it’s not even just Spivac. EA has a bad rep for me, in that after almost every update, they mess up atleast one fighters original height. It happens so often that I’m not even sure how they’d go about fixing this, with all the fighters they’ve ruined the heights of as consistently as they’ve done so.

Thanks for confirming and passing on the information. Apart from Borralho, I never noticed, but EA had the information as early as the next update. What I find annoying is that they confirmed they were made aware of the bug at the end of February, and they didn't do anything... I'm not going to play with Jokic in NBA 2K if he's 6'5"... In MMA, height and reach matter, and that eliminates the possibility of playing with Spivac, which isn't cool. And besides that, they're releasing alter egos that require a lot more work. Anyway... I hope they'll do it soon...

Yeah it’s really no problem man, and I’m with you on the frustration. You’re right to feel so irritated, and I feel the same. The size issues have been going on for so long now I’m not even sure if they will fix all of it, but I think they should atleast address the more noticeable ones, like Spivac and a couple others. One in particular that comes to mind is Marina Rodriguez, I highly recommend you check and compare her heights to other fighters estimated to be around the same height and you’ll see yet another issue of the same element. This problem has needed to be brought to light for quite some time now, so I really appreciate you a lot for noticing and bringing it up, as it seems that you and I are the only ones doing so

Yes, I realized while browsing forums that we don't all play games the same way. For some, UFC 5 is a brawling or fighting game like any other. They want strange or funny caf, full of alter egos who are stronger than current fighters or more fun in style. They always use the same fighters online . And others are more like us and look for the simulation side, after the real roster (there are a lot of good current fighters missing), fighters who are realistic in terms of size and appearance, fighting style, etc. So obviously when Spivac is 3 inches shorter than his height, it bothers us. But for others, it's just a detail; UFC for them is Tekken or Streetfighter; they don't care about the things that for us ruin the simulation.

A great fifth Rampage!!! 4 new alter egos that no one asked for... But on the other hand, making Spivac's size the same as you ruined... too complicated. I understand why so many people criticize your (in)work. I've never played a game where a character who was okay becomes crappy after an update that was supposed to improve the game, and the developers are aware of it, make updates, but don't fix anything. It's becoming really disrespectful to the players.
