Takedowns while trying to body punch

One of the main reasons I went back from UFC 4 to UFC 3 is because of the takedown command mixing up with the body strike command... For example if I'm trying to body jab, but I move the left stick forward, the fighter goes for the takedown instead, that problem completely messes up gameplay. Its impossible to step and body jab like in ufc 3, and ruins your strategy completely.

Is this getting fixed in UFC 5? I don't think Ive seen anywhere where devs are asking fans what we want, and what problems should be fixed, especially stuff that worked well in previous versions
