UFC Online is UNPLAYABLE — Fix your trash netcode. You losing community

UFC is a franchise with huge potential — the fighters are authentic, the animations are detailed, and the presentation is excellent.

But all of this means nothing if the online experience is completely broken.

Online play is the heart of competitive fighting games. Yet in UFC, it’s the worst part of the experience:

  • Massive input delay
  • Inconsistent hit registration
  • Blocks disappearing randomly
  • One player feels in control, the other feels underwater

This isn’t a matter of skill. It’s a matter of failed infrastructure.

And the worst part? Other games figured this out years ago:

  • TEKKEN 8 runs beautifully with rollback netcode — even at 100ms ping.
  • FC 25 (your own franchise) uses dedicated servers with visible ping and stable sync.
(in FC 25 I have ping 5, so nothing you can say bad about my connection.)

Why is UFC, a precise timing-based game, still using peer-to-peer delay-based netcode?

We’re asking you — before you launch UFC 6 — to take this seriously:

  1. Implement dedicated servers or rollback netcode
  2. Add ping visibility and region-based matchmaking
  3. Listen to the online community — not just casual players
  4. Also, the community can help monetize UFC more effectively — if you actually listen to us

We pay full price, yet half the game — the online portion — is unplayable.

And no one refunds us for the part we can’t use. I just paid again for UFC Ultimate and I honestly don’t see why I did that.

If nothing changes before UFC 6 ships — we will go public with this issue.

We’ll call on creators, influencers, and fighting game communities to make this visible.

Because we are not just fans — we’re your customers. And you need to start listening to the people who fund your franchise.
