Weird Sbmm

This game has a weird sbmm. I'm in division 2. I have like 5 fights in a row against people who are in division 2-5 and I beat them without any problem. Then I have to fight people who are in the 12-16 division and they destroy me. And the situation keeps repeating itself.
Is there any way to improve enemy matchmaking? In ufc 4 I was usually in 8-10 divisions and had 4-5 fights with people at my level, then someone destroyed me and I went back to people at my level, etc.
