Why aren’t my controls working in ufc5 on ps5

I recently bought the ufc 5 game on the PlayStation store. The first day or two the controls on multiplayer where working nicely. But now, only When I’m playing single player on Carter mode the controls work properly

 but when I’m playing multiplayer ‘R3’ and ‘O’ stop working . I’ve tried resetting the console it doesn’t go back to normal.
