Fixing a ruined, existing feature should be top priority (FIX THE HUD ISSUE NOW)

Yes I'm talking about the HUD issue... it's been TWO WEEKS since the latest patch made it impossible to turn off the HUD. I'm no programmer but it can't possibly be THAT complicated to undo the error they made. A hotfix should've been done within a couple of days, but instead here we all are wondering if the next patch (whenever that might be) will include the fix we've been waiting for, for two weeks at the time of this writing, and counting.
