GNP finishes need to be improved

It's a TINY TINY bit better in UFC 6 than UFC 5, but the GNP finishes are still anti-climactic and underwhelming. In some cases it feels almost unfinished. You GNP, and the fight is just kinda over, without any satisfying "oomph," particularly when the fighter just stops punching automatically on his own the very second the game deems his opponent unconscious. Every once in a blue moon the ref would actually step in, but even those occasions are not satisfying.

The finish is EVERYTHING. Even IRL, even a fight that's been a stinker the entire time, a great finish makes up for all the wrongs. GNP should be an exclamation mark, an emphatic conclusion. EA needs to patch the GNP finishes however way seems fit. I don't know if it's just tweaking the animations, but most definitely at the very least allow for an extended period of GNP after the opponent is unconscious, and NEVER EVER let the attacker stop punching BEFORE the ref intervenes.

  • Gnp update is coming to nerf bobble heading. This was my biggest complaint so far. But i get what you mean. Stand up has ragdoll finishes, what does gnp or subs get? Hardly anything. In ufc 3 it kinda had it. You can literally see unique triangle finishes like nate diaz flipping gpeople off. Or breaking a limb. They took all that out in ufc 5 for a more seamless sub and kinda a ref that steps in. But overall the omf is missing. Especially when you gott bullied by a strike and posture up and finally get back at him. It does miss that aspect
