i have an idea what you do in the next update
Feature Proposal: Interactive Press Conferences & Deeper Career Upgrades
Hi EA Sports UFC Dev Team and Community,
I want to share a few major feature concepts that I believe would massively increase the immersion, replay value, and depth of the Career Mode in the next update or title. Right now, the journey feels very focused on the fights themselves, but expanding the pre-fight build-up and fighter lifestyle would take the game to the next level.
Here are my specific ideas:
1. Interactive Pre-Fight Press Conferences
Instead of just static menu text, we need real-time, interactive pre-fight press conferences.
- Dialogue Choices: Give players multiple-choice dialogue options (e.g., Respectful, Cocky, Aggressive, Intimidating) that actively impact the fighter's persona.
- Hype & Financial Impact: What you say should directly alter your crowd hype, pay-per-view (PPV) buys, sponsor payouts, and fan followings.
- In-Game Consequences: If you heavily insult an opponent, it should trigger unique mid-fight cutscenes, higher rival aggression in the first round, or a tense post-fight handshake/brawl.
2. Expanded Fighter & Camp Upgrades
The upgrade system should extend beyond basic attribute points to cover the full lifestyle of a professional fighter.
- Gym Ownership & Upgrades: Allow players to eventually buy, name, and upgrade their own training facilities.
- Specialized Coaching Staff: Give options to hire world-class, specialized striking, wrestling, or BJJ coaches. Better coaches should unlock unique perks or faster move progression.
- Sparring Partners: Upgrading your gym should attract real-life UFC roster fighters to join your camp as guest sparring partners, giving you a chance to learn their signature moves.
- Media & Brand Management: Add upgrade trees for fighter popularity, allowing you to invest cash into media tours, merchandise lines, and movie cameos to boost passive income.
I believe these mechanics would make every career run feel genuinely unique and give players a reason to keep playing long after winning their first belt.
I would love to hear what the dev team and the rest of the community think about this!
