PLEASE, include the actual walkout songs for fighters Carlos Prates and Topuria, and update Prates' tattoos, they disappeared after the first update. That is the BARE MINIMUM you should do. Also, add cutscenes and more interactions to Career Mode; is that really so hard?
To answer your question: no, it shouldn’t be that hard. They could literally just take the cutscenes from ufc 5 and reuse them which I’d be much happier with than having none at all. It makes it to where nothing in career feels special. It’s hard to believe how much career mode regressed this year- although I do like the new training setup.
You can’t even see your fight history when looking at fight offers (so I can double check how many times I’ve already fought the guy I’m being offered), and you can’t see your record progression during fight week. Like even just little things like that are super annoying and inconvenient.
