Critical PS5 Overheating in UFC 6 Online Mode

Dear EA Support Team,

I am writing to report a serious performance issue with UFC 6 on my PlayStation 5.

The problem occurs exclusively in the online mode: when I am in the Online Career lobby or in the process of searching for an opponent, the console’s cooling system runs at full capacity, producing extreme noise. Within seconds, a system warning appears stating that the PS5 is overheating, and the console shuts down.

The most absurd part is that during the actual fight, when the game is graphically demanding, the noise level and temperature noticeably drop and stabilise. The console runs quieter during the heat of the fight than it does in the waiting menu.

What has been done: the console was professionally cleaned of dust, and the thermal paste was replaced. Other resource‑intensive games run without any issues whatsoever. Everything indicates that the problem lies in poor game code optimisation, not in a hardware fault.

I kindly request you to: check the CPU load in the online lobby and menus, and release a patch to fix this critical error. I am forced to stop playing because I am concerned about the safety of my console.
