animation of brutal damage (broken legs etc)

Hi.

Im a huge fan of the UFC and played this game for a while and Im really looking forward to see, how well this game can bee developed/improved.

So..I dont know if its already in the game or there is some reasons why its not in the game, but.. I would really like to see some more of brutality in the game, which would take it step closer to what could really happen in the octagon of UFC fight. For example, the match where Silva broke his leg by striking... or broken arms by submissions..

How I imagine, how could it work...for example..if you keep striking your opponents feet..there might be a chance that his or your leg brokes and of course, the match is going to be stopped and the winner will be pronounced. It would be just the same..if you keep punching/striking opponents head, till it gets red in the status bar..opponent gets KOed..but if you work the leg then it gets broken..or yours gets broken...it could be like randomly, as it is real life UFC.

I mean..I really would like to see more animations of critical damage...broken noses, ear damages... When opponent gets KOed..and he drops on the ground..sometimes he lands on his arm or leg..and instead of the "glitch" look..how the leg or arm lays unnatural...maybe,  it could be better to see an animation of what would really happen.. for example, like in the match, where Mirko Cro Cop got KOed and he felt on his leg..

I might sound a bit brutal with this suggestion, I know, but thats why I made this topic to find out..would it be possible to see that in the future or its too brutal and that might somehow affect peoples mind..and thats why its never gonna be in the game.

Really  hope to see any answers or some kind of support of this suggestion.

Many thanks.

Even THQ only showed a hurt opponent. They won't put something like that in because of the age range. Even the blood is disappearing off the mat and fighters again. Some parents just won't go for that. It sucks, but this is already a niche game. So it isn't going to sell well enough probably to make it rated M. I would love it too, but it more than likely will never happen.

GTA5 is PEGI18 which means if you aint 18 you wont be able to buy the game..and there is animals, people..loads of brutality etc.. and it is selling very good. Speaking of UFC..I dont see it that BAD..that broken bones could somehow affect the selling count..I think it would only grow up..cuz there is plenty of games where you can see brutality..like mortal combat for example..
More blood, broken bones would only get this game closer to reality..like it is in the real life. Its all about brutality. Parents cant expect to see fluffy pink rabbits in this game/sport..simple as that. I think the EA needs to stop being soft.. or maybe there is any other reasons, why theres lack of brutality?

I would really love to see more random action..like, animations of failed punches/kicks...more "ragdoll" things...and some possibilities of breaking bones..

    Thanks.

GTAV is a horrible example. That game sold over a billion dollars worth of games, etc., in 3 days. This game will likely only hit 100 million. Maybe more.

Now ask yourself WHY that game hit those billions? Because of great improvements in each new release...

Anyways..mortal combat... way more brutal then this one..

In fact..broken bones and more blood wouldnt actually make this game more brutal..but more realistic to what could happen in a real match. And that is what I really miss while playing this game..it feels like there is 2 immortal vampires fighting to each other and you cant actually see the damage which is done...only some red/blue marks on the face and thats it..

Id like to see, some action of damaged parts..like..how the charracter is trying to defend his damaged spot..etc..or, if his hands is marked as red in the statuss..then he could do punches.. But yeah...like I said in the first place...this game needs more realistic action.. am I the only one who wants it? :D

They will clinch their body if you rocked them there a lot of times. A leg kick can make your movement very slow and awkward. Everyone wants this type of stuff for sure. However, it is a niche market for the game and they have to make it available to everyone. Some parents are weird. They might let them watch it, but if they see it in a game they get all upset. I think EA wanted more. I know they did because they let the blood stay on the mat in the initial release. A patch actually made it disappear after each round though. That was likely from feedback from somewhere. They wouldn't change this without a reason.

How stupid it is.. parents, who dont play games...buys a "brutal" fighting game to their underage kids and then moans about it.. its just ridiculous.. and because of those moaning parents all the rest have to deal with it...is that fair?

One more question.. how does this game qualifies? as a arcade or simulation? cuz, if its an simulation, then it needs to be as realistic as it could be..and I dont think that breaking bones would be very hard to do.

Has EA every discussed about this? Just want to know their opinion about it.

It is a mix of arcade and sim. I wouldn't classify it as one or the other. You can fight realistically, but you can also play it like an arcade game. Up to you and the other person.

So... Back to EA.. I just want to know reasons why the game doesnt have any animations of breaking bones..randomly.. what could actually happen in this kind of sport and that is absolutely no surprise. The parents should accept it or buy some other games for their kids, cause this discriminates the real ufc fans..who wants to enjoy a game, which is as close to 1:1 as possible..
