PARRY GLITCH FROM BETA STILL IN FULL RELEASE

The parry glitch that was found in the BETA is still in the full game.

If you are getting 90% of your strikes parried, you can bet on it that your opponent is abusing this.

The glitch can be executed as followed:

1. Parry any strike

2. Hold the button you parried the strike with (XBOX: A, B, X, Y)

3. You can now parry every shot your opponent makes by simply pressing the HIGH BLOCK or LOW BLOCK button (XBOX: RB, RT)

This is essentially cheating and already in full use by some people.

I am able to recreate this bug on the XBOX ONE, not sure if it will function on PS4.

The worst part about it, is that you can still throw strikes with the buttons you are not holding to perform this glitch.

  • Ok so it's actually slightly worse than I thought..

You can simply hold any button and just press HIGH BLOCK or LOW BLOCK to parry incoming strikes this way. No need to parry first.

This second method seems to work about half as well as the first method though. Sometimes not even working at all, still glitchy though.

Isn't the point of it that you're supposed to predict the shot or at least parry it as it's coming in? We aren't allowed to pre-counter grappling attempts either.

And why does parrying with a ARM strike button work on parrying a LEG strike?

The EASPORTS website even shows that you're meant to use punch buttons for parrying high strikes and and kick buttons for parrying low strikes. With this method you are however able to parry incoming low strikes simply by holding X and pressing RT (low block). I am also able to parry a punch to the head by pre-holding A (left leg kick) and than pressing RB as soon as I see the incoming strike.
