To be clear, to power cycle the console you'll need to hold the button down on the console so it fully shuts down and doesn't go into rest mode. Putting it into rest mode may not prompt a new update. How to power cycle your PS4 console
- Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
- Turn it back on after 1 minute. Launch the game.
Hi EA team, this has not resolved issue for me. I have completed hard reboot and still happening. Pulled power from wall for 10 minutes. Videos are now appearing in YouTube regarding this issue. I know that other person online can see me cause I’m getting hit. Thanks.
Also to add to above issue also appears in offline Mode quick match.
I’ve tried the steps listed and it has not helped at all. The error is showing up in every game mode including career making the entire game completely unplayable.
What is being done to resolve this game breaking issue and how long will I have to wait to play this game. I’ve supported this series by buying at launch every time and would appreciate some sort of update.
Same mate, lost the last 6 fights from it and no matter even if I reset or re-install it will still do it

i have uninstalled and re installed the game and nothing seems to work not happy ea
Its been 2 days and you guys still haven’t addressed the issue or even advised when it’s going to be fixed. Honestly a refund would be better bc you guys are a bunch of thieves.

i suppose its kind of hard when they are just sitting back laughing and counting all the money they stole I’m getting this issue when I’ve tried everything. Good job everyone for spreading this around and keep doing so.
We need ea to see this Is a massive problem.AARRGH! Now it’s doing this in career. The game is completely broken. EA what are you guys doing. The incompetence is unbelievable. See attached.
- @EA_Blueberry That doesn’t work. Maybe make sure the game works before releasing it. This is a game breaking bug for a BRAND NEW game that is now completely unplayable!! Nobody at EA better sleep until this is patched and fixed
can i get a reset on my season progress after trying all this I have had so many purple screen fights its pathetic!
even better can we have the whole season reset.
Typical EA selling a product that is full of bugs!

- @curlycrayfish I have been talking to someone in EA UFC discord about record reset. He says it's unlikely.
Seeing as it's unfair for those whole did play to get their record scrapped / it's difficult to do it case by case.
But idk wait and see maybe... and what about those who have had there records trashed?

- @curlycrayfish oh yeh brother. Don't think I haven't said my piece I'm furious. Cause it's either I play and get smeshed or I don't play and in not playing the game I paid for.
I think my record is 26 wins out of 57 matched. A lot of that coming from having to quit or take the beating cause or purple
I placed rank 12 in now rank 1..
So yeah.. I feel the pain brother That ain't bad! I've lost a few hundred matches over the past 5 or 6 days since I got it due to this bug. Apparently it's been happening since the beta and has never been fixed lol.
I have been muted from the official UFC 4 discord for 24 hours for asking for an update on this issue.

Thank you for relaying that workaround. Steps like that aren't always guaranteed to work for everyone but anything to help everyone get back into the game is appreciated.
The team is aware of this purple loading screen freeze and working on it - we'll update everyone here as soon as we can. We know it's tough to be told to wait and be patient, but please continue to do so while they aim to fix it as fast as possible. If anyone else stumbles across any steps that is worth trying to minimize this from happening, please share if you can. Thank you all for hanging in there. 6 days in and no fix 🤔
no resets for anyone even though most people records are ruined for it.
Oh and no updates as to when it will be fixed but in the meantime let’s try another dumb way to try and make it work and ruin our record more 😒
Could everyone try now, I just got 3 games in row with no glitch. Also got message from someone who reckons the issue is resolved. I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up so please try and let the us know. @JumanjiJasper @Levett94 @Tarrym0n @CheruYT I know most of you in NZ and Aus will be at work but try when at home.

Can do more thorough testing after 1 @JumanjiJasper all good man, I think there’s still some traffic cause we can connect to US. But honesty I went from zero to 3 in row which is a first. I’m on annual so been trying this every morning. I feel ya man got 2 little ones too and jumping online when I have window is the only thing that keeps me sane. Hence the frustration.
