- Anonymous10 years agoSo I have an American registered PSN accout. I wanted to buy coins for the ufc ultimate team but couldn't through the game menu, so I did so through the store. The problem now is my ufc points balance is still at 0. Restarted my console, waited and waited, still nothing. Any idea what I should do?

It can take up to 48 hours for the points to appear. If the points still don't appear once that time has passed then please contact our EA Advisors via EA Help so they can walk you through getting the points you purchased.
To setup your contact via EA Help first start with selecting your country or language. If your country or language isn't listed then select either United States or United Kingdom.
Now follow the numbered steps as shown in the picture. If you are unable to login you will also be able to create an anonymous case at this point.
- The final page doesn't load? press F5 on your keyboard to reload the page or try another browser.
- You get no contact options? you are most likely trying to contact the selected channel outside of operating hours.
- Your country has no phone number? use a voIP program such as Skype to contact our UK channel via +44 203 0141818.

Any idea what I should do?Did you buy the points from the account you had for that region? Ex: I buy points from the US store to use on my UK account. The code wouldn't work because the regions have different stores. You obviously know this though, or you wouldn't have made the account for the US. Just making sure you bought them with the right account. Sometimes people leave their main account open when playing on another account. If your billing info is tied to that account, you are basically still using that info to buy things.

Many thanks for the reply. Like I said before, I have a PSN account registered to the USA. Because of this, I'm always careful to purchase add-ons and other things ONLY through the PSN site or use vouchers in US dollars. But your reply got me thinking. I have a USA account, but I currently live in The Netherlands. So all recent games I've bought have been bought in the Netherlands. Do you think there's a region lock or something similar affecting me? (i.e. I have a usa account but might have a Europe region locked game disk). Every time I try to check the store on the UFC 2 in-game portal, it always comes back with a "there is no content. It might not be for sale yet or might no longer be for sale" error message.

I'm not sure if the discs are region locked. I really don't think they are though. I think it is all based on your region and language settings for that. Are you signing out of the other account when you play on the US region one? It could just be the link to the store is messing up. Although, it does seem too coincidental that it is happening on just the one account. Does it do that when you are on your main account? The only place it might not be released yet is Japan. For some reason they always get these types of games later. Not even sure they released it in Japan yet.

I only have one account, which is the one I can't make in-game purchases from. I guess I'll have to contact the EA customer help desk to see if they can fix this. I just don't understand why even when I bought UFC points off the psn store online it doesn't show up in my in-game balance. Pretty frustrating.

While games are not region locked, DLC and add-on content is. This means that you won't be able to purchase points in the USA store with a Dutch version of the game and vice versa.

You purchased them from the store that came up when you searched it online? That will link you to the store in your region. You have to buy the points from the store in the region the account is in. You would have had to buy it from this store for the US: https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/home/main You likely bought it from this store: https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-au/home/games You see how the first one I linked has /en-us/ and the one in Australia has /en-au/? That is the region portion of the link. You have to buy the points from the first link.
You can call Sony and tell them you bought from the wrong store. I have had a different region store pop up before when searching, so they will likely credit your account back. That isn't a guarantee though since they usually put "**all sales final" on DLC type purchases.
