The Game "freezes" mid-fight

Why is it that every once in a while, the game just freezes mid-fight when the fighters are walking to their corners? When I say freeze, I don't mean the game crashes. It's like the game stops in place. You can see the fighters breathing, the crowd is cheering, etc. Everything is moving, but it's just stuck there. It has happened multiple times and the only fix is to close the application which would result in a DNF loss. EA, please do something about this issue. It has been like this a long time and still no fix.

    @RypeYT 

    This is potentially due to additional input peripherals interfering. 

    Try removing any unused input peripherals, joysticks, wheel controllers, Guitar Hero controllers etc.

    It’s a joke, I was on a 10 fight streak and suddenly game crashes mid fight and now i have to start again. FIX IT

    Been a year since OP and no changes. But it’s EA, they don’t even care about fifa, their biggest money maker
