THIS DOES NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE FOR THE VAST MAJORITY OF USERS GETTING A FAILED TO LOAD THE SESSION OR CANNOT CONNECT ERROR.
I'VE HARD RESET XBOX ONE, REMOVED DISC AND HARD RESET IT, OPENED UP PORTS ON ROUTER, TRIED A NEW ROUTER WITH OPEN PORTS AND NAT OPEN.
UNINSTALLED THE GAME, REINSTALLED THE GAME, CLEARED ALL LOCAL SAVED DATA, CLEARED CACHE, CONTACTED MY ISP, AND CONFIRMED EVERY. OTHER. GAME. WORKS JUST FINE IN ALL MULTIPLAYER MODES.
I SIMPLY CANNOT PLAY THIS GAME ON ANY MULTIPLAYER MODE, OR WEIGHTCLASS DUE TO THESE ERRORS.
****EA**** PLEASE ADMIT THERE IS AN ISSUE, AND PROVIDE A CLEAR SET OF INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO RESOLVE.

Have you opened the following game specific ports? http://help.ea.com/en/article/ufc-ports-info/
If not, please open those and let us know if you can connect.

Top dawg said in his post he opened the ports and still didn't work... I mean its nice to see someone from ea kinda skim through people's posts. But this is a major problem. I still cannot access online games for ufc. Almost 36 hours now... And it's the ufc server. Battlefield 4 works fine online and so does titanfall. I'm afraid that by the time this issue is resolved that most people will have given up on the game.- EA_Barry12 years ago

I know he said he opened some ports but he may not have been aware that there are ports specific to this game that should be opened rather than generic ports:
To clarify:
Origin ports -
- TCP: 80; 443; 9960-9969; 1024-1124; 18000; 18120; 18060; 27900; 28910; 29900
- UDP: 1024-1124; 18000; 29900
UFC specific ports -
- UDP: 3659
- TCP: 3659

this does not work, i'm getting this issue yet my xbox one is DMZ'd through my router!
- 12 years agoPosted this over in madden......
So ea Kristi messaged me the other day to talk and I finally decided to tell them how to fix their issue. I was still mad because after numerous calls to them rather than helping me find a solution they wanted to tell me about being the number 1 game manufacturer in the work and how great they are.they also proceeded to tell me it was my ISP fault. Crazy thing madden 25 on 360 using same router and ISP works fine. So I set out to figure out the problem and I did, basically doing EAs job for them.
It has to do with your private network. Apparently something with the update to xbox a month or so ago caused issues with ea servers talking through some routers to xbox one. I was the one who mentioned in the ufc forum that turning off ipv6 may help the issue, which it did somewhat for me (allowed me to play ufc but not madden). The fix unfortunately is you will need to move to a router that allows for both normal and private network port forwarding. I was using an older linksys e900 that could only port forward as a whole but didn't allow specified forwarding on private networks. Once I moved to a belkin router it gave me both options. I first checked to see if it was the router by setting it up the same as the linkysys, but it did not work. Once I added the same port forwarding to the private network setting it worked fine.
I passed on this information to others and it has worked for them as well. I also talked to another guy who stumbled onto the same fix and he hasn't had issues either. Sometimes I still have to search a couple times to get in a quick game but my league stuff has worked fine since.
I mentioned this a day or two ago to ea so surprised they haven't said anything unless they are testing it amongst themselves. Hope this helps.
