The above "fix" did NOT work for me and multiple other users experiencing the same issue.
EA PLEASE ASSIST!!
OK so i have been reading u on multiple forums for ATT uverse. No you can not have an open nat with ATT uverse NVG589. you will end up getting a moderate nat for when you open ports etc. I have opened all of the necessary ports so that i should be able to play but it does not work. why doesn't it work? because the NVG589 does not support UPnP so it will not automatically forward incoming packets and action etc.
Is there a fix, supposadly you can do a passthrough with a UPnP router which will make all devices on the router passthrough the gateway unrestricted.
The UPnP setting in the router will allow ports to be forwarded automatically. this will make your nat type open with xbox one live etc.
However, i have done all of those steps as well and they do NOT fix the current problem. i have had open nats and at the same time this game does not work. i have done DMZ i have opened ports on top of all of this and it still does not work. Do i know what im doing with networking yes i do. i have been trying to fix this networking problem for about 5 days now? kind of rediculous that EA has not posted a single post on this flaming forum.
EA i have a question for you.
There are many many people with ATT UVerse what are you going to do about the current problem? you may lose many customers. If your other games opperate off cloud multiplayer why doesnt this game operate off from the same type because your other games work fine. why use old technology that doesnt work?
and the really strange thing is i can remove all the port forwarding and for some reason sometimes without the forwarding i can play a few matches , but once i turn my xbox off and back on i start getting the same messages
I found Out how to Make your Nat open using ATT uverse.
Login to your ATT device by typing
192.168.1.254 inyour browser
go to nat gaming
forward ports 1-6000 and also forward ports 9000-29900
reset your xbox
i did this and my NAT on Xbox one says open. Althought my nat says open i still havent been able to play UFC but somone else try this out and see if you have any luck.
- Same thing here. What's up EA? Thus is unacceptable. I haven't been able to play a single online match. It never connects to session. These troubleshooting steps are pointless. The problem is on YOUR end. Why no official response? This is bullshi*. Now all the help threads have been removed from the ea ufc forum as well. You can't even access it via the ea ufc forum anymore. What's the deal? You guys had better make a public response about this. I'm seriously considering contacting my state attorney general. This type of **bleep** after what you pulled with Battlefield 4 is completely unacceptable and more importantly unethical. You continuously push products on consumers that are not ready to go live. I paid for features that I can not use. Go to hell EA.
