This issue isn't going to just go away if you ignore it, EA. Where is an update on progress?? Communicate with us and let us know we haven't purchased $65 coasters!!!

I have been having issues for the past few weeks (same time it started for everyone) and have set out to try and fix the issue on my own. I was finally successful last night in doing so. I found that when I wired directly into my modem and cleared my cache it fixed my issue, but that was an unacceptable work around as it killed my wireless. After playing around with some port forwarding stuff and my router I decided to just reset my router to factory and set it up like new. After resetting to factory and clearing my cache on my Xbox all my EA games now play fine.
While it did end up being my router I still don't see what changed with EA that made it not work as every other game I played online played fine while EA's did not work. I have Time Warner and used a Linksys router if anyone was going to ask. It may not fix everyones issues but may be worth a shot, at least it is something other than EA saying reset your xbox over and over.

Hi guys,
Can you try doing powering down your Xbox One, unplugging the cable and then waiting for three minutes. Afterwards, plug the cable back in, wait for the orange light to turn on and then power the system back up.
This should clear the cache and help with the issues you guys have been experiencing.
Cheers,
Nils
- 12 years agoNills that is a joke right? Of course everyone has tried that and it fixes nothing. My fix I mentioned earlier was only temporary and now I am back to be unable to connect.

Nils really? Seriously? Have you read the last twelve pages? Just to humor you I did the following:
1. Unplugged my modem
2. Hard shutdown my Xbox by holding the power button for 6 seconds
3. Unplugged the power brick that connects to my Xbox one
4. Left the modem and the Xbox unplugged for 10 minutes.
5. Plugged modem back in first to make sure internet was up and running for when the Xbox fired up
6. Waited three minutes and verified internet connectivity
7. Powered up Xbox
8. ****Back into the forums to write explaining that you people are idiots. Is there anyone with any actual knowledge looking into this? Do they even communicate with you about their findings? What's the deal. Fix your game, you have had more than enough opportunity to address the community on this. Anyone with a brain can figure out that this is a widespread problem. The only reason your forums haven't completely exploded is due to your sales numbers. What the F?

I am aware that this isn't the solution for every instance, but it was worth a shot for those that hadn't tried it yet.
Thanks for attempting this and updating us that the issue persists.
Unfortunately I have no further update at this stage. - Anonymous12 years ago
I Resolved the issue it was the isp. I called at&t uverse and they replaced the modem gateway/Router..... ISSUE RESOLVED
- 12 years agoIt's not the ISPs fault everything worked fine up until a couple weeks ago. It's also not the ISPs fault that other game developers have had zero issues with this. This is an EA issue that they try to pass off as an ISP issue. If every other developer can make these setups work than so can EA.

Yup that "fix" did absolutely nothing for me. If it was still easy to sue you I would have done so ages ago. This is sickening.

Exactly. It's funny because other EA titles from different branches work fine (Titanfall, Battlefield 4 surprisingly), it's just EA Sports (FIFA, Madden, EA Sports UFC) messing up. I have had absolutely zero issues with every other game from every other developer. But supposedly it's our ISP's fault. Screw you EA and fix your damn servers.

Titanfall is hosted by Microsoft which is why it works. Not sure about Battlefield. Something changed between the connection with certain routers (note not ISPs as if I directly wire to modem it works) and the servers. Maybe the conenction is getting flagged as malicious or something. Don't know and honestly I don't get paid to toruble shoot this stuff EA does.
