still waiting for a solution
- Anonymous12 years agoI would really like to play my ea sports games this weekend. Any word on this???
- Anonymous12 years agoA number of solutions I have found:
1. HOTSPOTING CELLPHONE(IF CONVENIENT)
2.OLD SCHOOL NETWORK BRIDGE THROUGH DESKTOP ( IF YOU HAVE THE NETWORK SETUP FOR THAT ON IT)
3.HOTSPOTTING YOUR LAPTOP/MACBOOK, AT MOMENT ETHERNET TO WIFI WORKS FOR ME BUT FOR SOME REASON IT WONT ACCEPT THE WPA PASSWORD I SELF ASSAIGN SO IM FLYING UNPROTECTED WHEN PLAYING, WIFI TO ETHERNET IS TO ANNOYING TO FIND SPECIFIC CONFIGURATION.
Sorry for all caps, using smartphone to post and using these methods if been able to play, I'm starting to suspect it had to do with the gateways the ISP'S provide but that could be a tangent for t what the actual problem was. - Anonymous12 years ago
its nice they cant give live tech support.
- I went ahead and got a new modem to replace what Time Warner gives with their Extreme service.
Getting a different modem/router has fixed the problem. I'm guessing it is a compatibility issue with certain modems/routers. - That's no excuse for the problem. Read through the specs each person provided that is currently experiencing the problem. This is a widespread problem throughout multiple service providers and multiple types of equipment. When a game is sold under the premise that online multilayer is something included, it shouldn't mean that you need specialty hardware. Every other game I've played over the last ten years has worked flawlessly regardless of my router or modem. Good Internet service should mean playable online games.... period. Only as of late havery I experienced problems with online games. Coincidentally both ea titles (Battlefield 4... what a joke.... and now UFC). You can swap and change whatever hardware you'd like but this problem is on EA and so far their customer service and community relations have been WAY below part as I'm beginning to expect with their titles. It's really unfortunate that the gaming community is mostly comprised of teeny boppers that just assume that this type of product quality and product support is ok because it is now the "norm"...
- Anonymous12 years agoReally wondering why every EA game has a terms of service agree/disagree page now a days yet there games are usually not tested well based on launch performance??????

This is unreal. I haven't been able to play online since the 20th of JUNE. JUNE. It is now the 20th of JULY. JJJUUULLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYY. My friend returned his game. I should have followed suit.
2 more people from my UFC league reported not being able to connect today. Sounds like the problem is growing.
- I definitely agree. I was debating getting a modem/router for myself because the one TWC provided was troublesome.
It should not be that you have to get a new modem/router but I have had no issues since doing so. This is clearly a compatibility issue that EA/MS are facing.
