- Anonymous12 years agoWhat if ur router doesn't support disabling ipv6
same boat. I can not disable IPv6 on my router. I have a page of notes about this on my Google Fiber account. So freaking frustrating. All the people at Google Fiber are scratching there heads calling EA a joke for not having this fixed.

ATTENTION USERS!!! All EA sports games are having this issue on XB1. I come from Madden which i could not connect to people on h2h and MUT. Disabling IPv6 on your router fixes the problem. I could not play a game for months and checked everyone for a fix. EA please read this post and report that its a IPv6 issue
this does not work, i'm getting this issue yet my xbox one is DMZ'd through my router!
- Posted this over in madden......
So ea Kristi messaged me the other day to talk and I finally decided to tell them how to fix their issue. I was still mad because after numerous calls to them rather than helping me find a solution they wanted to tell me about being the number 1 game manufacturer in the work and how great they are.they also proceeded to tell me it was my ISP fault. Crazy thing madden 25 on 360 using same router and ISP works fine. So I set out to figure out the problem and I did, basically doing EAs job for them.
It has to do with your private network. Apparently something with the update to xbox a month or so ago caused issues with ea servers talking through some routers to xbox one. I was the one who mentioned in the ufc forum that turning off ipv6 may help the issue, which it did somewhat for me (allowed me to play ufc but not madden). The fix unfortunately is you will need to move to a router that allows for both normal and private network port forwarding. I was using an older linksys e900 that could only port forward as a whole but didn't allow specified forwarding on private networks. Once I moved to a belkin router it gave me both options. I first checked to see if it was the router by setting it up the same as the linkysys, but it did not work. Once I added the same port forwarding to the private network setting it worked fine.
I passed on this information to others and it has worked for them as well. I also talked to another guy who stumbled onto the same fix and he hasn't had issues either. Sometimes I still have to search a couple times to get in a quick game but my league stuff has worked fine since.
I mentioned this a day or two ago to ea so surprised they haven't said anything unless they are testing it amongst themselves. Hope this helps.
