I'm sure many players, like myself, have become frustrated with Ultimate Team and the pay to win aspect of it. Personally, i'm in division 2 in Ultimate Team with my 67 overall fighter. Thinking i was going to be put into a match with an equally or close to equally rated fighter, I was very sorely mistaken. I'm facing players, in division 2 mind you, with 85+ overall ratings with my fighter being only at 67! I started with a 50-something stand-up since I chose a wrestler, but all I face are players with juiced up stand-up ratings, up in the high 90's, the only way I can is by taking fights to the ground and to try and stand-up would be suicide. Surprisingly enough, the people who only upgrade their stand-up aren't very good at the ground.... What i'm saying is that matchmaking NEEDS to be based off of fighter ratings and not Divisions. There is literally no point in playing Ultimate Team competitively if you don't have the money to be able to buy cards to upgrade your fighter making Divisions and rankings absolutely useless and inaccurate. If you made it to this point, thank you for reading, and I hope many other players feel the same way as me about Ultimate Team in UFC 2.

A lot do, and hopefully they will do something about it. This forum is actually more for help. However, the devs do watch the forums for the game on Operation Sports. Trust me, they have been getting feedback like this. I've even given my own. Ultimate Team is hard to do well in if you didn't start playing from the beginning. Unless you are really good, and can beat a lot of players using a lower OVR CAF. However, once you get so high, the other really good players will have better CAFs. I think this game is a learning curve for Ultimate Team for the series.

i was worried about getting overmatched from the beginning, so i started grinding UT on the first day. my advice would be to place all universal cards (both attributes and moves) on one caf. if you still find yourself overmatched, play the single player championships for a few weeks. it is slower, but you can still mine coins from there.

Obviously, I get my * handed to me within a few minutes as I can't even come close to what those fighters can do. On the odd occasion that I get a player who is on the same overall level as me, I win some and lose some. As you can probably imagine, this is taking the fun out of playing online. Even when I am in the Single Player Championship against the CPU, there are only so many fights I can get through before my fitness levels are too low and I can't compete any further. The coins you get as rewards for winning in the Single mode are not as high as playing in the Ultimate Championship mode so even trying this as an alternative is limited in the sense that I can only purchase a few packs. I really do not want to spend any more money on this game seeing as I paid £45 for it and am against in-game purchases. My question is, does anyone know how the game selection process works? Should it not put me up against fighters who are on or around the same level as me? If this is not the case, then could this be considered a bug that needs fixing in a future update? Im getting the same, started a new fighter with hardly any moves, the ones i do have are 3 star max and after 4 fights ive started coming up against fighters fast, powerful, good stand up and ground, after they beat me it shows top moves and winning move and they have 5 star red and 5 star gold moves while im sat with nothing, surely they can't expect me to beat these guys when they can do moves that can ko me in 1 clean hit

When I contacted EA they told me that this was the first that they've heard of it, and that there was nothing on the forums on the subject, this part of the game has made me resent it, I loved the career mode and even had that on the hardest setting, but that still matches you up against opponents that are of equal ability!

The person that I spoke to has asked for screen shots of what the opponents abilities are, I feel that if they're at 90-100 then they should be in the higher divisions automatically. It's only fair after all. So I would suggest that if you're still having the same issues as me and not wanting to shell out even more cash on the game, upload your screen shot of the last fight to show that you're not being matched fairly.. Hope this helps, it's not helped me though!

Hahaha that's hilarious, I got matched with that guy last night in division 1. The way I see it, the game matches you like EA UFC 1. By location, then people in your location that's online at that moment not in a match looking for a match. And if there's only you and the 100 overall CAF..........good luck and get ready to rumble. I don't let it bother me, it's usually over before I can get mad or think of an excuse why I lost. I don't make it easy for them though, ohh no. My 77 overall Jon Snow is packing the heat. Just don't touch his hair. You gotta love this game.
