I just wanted to come on here and say thank you guys for the awesome game that is WRC. I can't believe I paid a little over $40 bucks for this game at launch and already amassed nearly 450 hours of pure rally fun which is more than any rally game to day in that span of time. I wasn't around to pre-order DR1 but I was able to for DR2.0 and was there for its launch. It was a bit rocky no doubt as am sure you guys remember but after time it grew to become the best rally game out there next to RBR. I know some would disagree but truly, while WRC has some kinks still to work out, it's still in a far better shape than DR2.0 was at launch and I couldn't be happier or more optimistic for its future. I love this game to death and really appreciate all the hard work that went into it. I will say, I hope you guys are able to get back on the bandwagon soon. The community has been eating itself alive lately and I find it worrying that some believe WRC Gen or DR2.0 are still better rally games. I think once you guys start getting some more patches out and those heavily requested features like VR and Triple Screens people will simmer down. I also think, if you guys really wanted to win over the community, you could announce that WRC won't be a yearly release but will include DLC with the new teams/cars we can purchase. Plus, I really want to drive on the new locations for WRC 2024 soon! (Poland & Lativa)I just know things are shaky right now and if you guys end up doing yearly releases, a lot of the community that has stood behind you will walk away (sadly, myself included). I am all for paying for DLC's to support the devwork and keep me coming back for years like I did with DR2.0 but I know myself and many others would be very much against yearly releases. Why if you guys wanted to win over a lot of people, especially those poor KT fans, doing DLC's over yearly titles would pay dividends in that regards. Anyways, the main thing is I just wanted to say thank you for everything and that I am really looking forward to you guys getting involved with the community again so things can settle down. I know the holidays took a lot of you away but because of that, negativity and doubt have been running rampant. We need you guys to come back and show these doubters who the best rally game devs are and to show all those who say WRC G or DR2.0 is better how wrong they are! Ha! I am just tired of the negativity whether in Steam forums or even the WRC Discord. It won't take much to right ship, I just hope its sooner than later fam! I believe in you guys <3Thanks for your time and the amazing game too. Have a wonderful weekend! Take care EA/Codies!!!

Completely agree with the original post in respect of EA WRC, it’s absolutely fantastic, and it’s strengths far exceed its weaknesses.i tried really hard to get on with the Kylotonn games but they never engaged me to be honest.EA WRC on the other hand has me gripped, I love it. If I could sum it up as succinctly as possible then EA WRC has ‘Soul’

Well yeah if they make the game good people will like it more what the hell are you on about.ATM this game is not worth my time, let alone my money. It needs a lot of work which is not gonna get because the team was reduced.Unfortunately EA ruins everything they touch and this is no exception. It's a shame cos this time around we only got one single rally game and they delivered a broken game. There is no next gen competitor. This is a huge blow for rally sims

@Pawer08Why do you feel the need to come in here and say a bunch of negative things towards the game? Just make your own thread. This was a thank you thread for EA/Codies. You want to make a thread bashing them, be my guest. Don't understand people like you that are so afraid of others enjoying something they don't they go out of their way to try to ensure they don't.The real shame here is that you're unable to see the woods past the trees. There's not 1 sim on the market whether rally racing to high competition esport racing like IRacing that is without flaws. This game is far from broken and is already in better shape in the same time frame with more content than when DR2.0 launched. I've been playing since Halloween and loving every minute of it too. It's only been a few months yet the way you're acting is like this has been broken since day 1 and will forever be broken. New game on a new engine that is supposed to work flawlessly on multiple platforms is bound to have issues. It's EA/Codies man. Not like they're not going to fix whatever is wrong. Think you're jumping the gun here.Oh yeah and EA did cut some folks but WRC and F1 have different teams and the F1 team is in dire straits with F1 2024. Not sure how much you follow that but F1 schedule wise, is basically the same as F1 23's. The only change is China is returning but it's already in F1 23. Breaking Point is too soon to return and wouldn't make sense. There's F1 world but it's already in f1 23. So this next game, they are going to have to go BIG if they are to make $70 bucks + Season Pass + MTX like they did with F1 23. A lot of us seen the writing on the wall and aren't surprised one bit EA laid some folks off. They probably need to bring in some big guns to help because F1 24 has to be juicy for people to want to drop on it. Like bunch of classic cars/circuits or a completely revamped and fleshed out career mode. Something to entice that asking price EA wants for those games. I highly doubt much changed with the WRC crew but who knows. I just know that the real money maker, F1, is in big trouble this upcoming year unless they do something drastic because as it stands, there would be zero point to getting F1 24 if you own F1 23. Like drivers are the same, Alpha Romeo is no more and China is back. Not good if you are in EA's shoes.

@ZeroAffexI totally agree, I love this game. The best thing that has happened to the rally community in many years.I also hope the bugs get sorted out, luckily I have no issues with game play at least. Game looks excellent and the frame rate is nothing short of amazing. But it seems you need to be on PC and have DLSS for this to be true, so I guess I’m lucky that’s my setup. And the content is on another level, every night before bed there is always one run on a 30km+ stage with RWD car to end the day. The highlight of every day :-)BTW, every lunch starts with the Moment of the day :-) (it’s released 12:00 my time zone)https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/The-positive-thread-I-love-EA-WRC/m-p/13323605#M2177
