Just as the title says, it’s so bright. Everything just looks over exposed to the point where it’s difficult to see sometimes. This is the case on every stage and it seems to be worse when using an internal camera view. It affects the game during gameplay and replays but not photo mode, which shows how good it should actually look. I wanted to attach pics so you could compare, but they are too large.
I’m on PS5 and i’m convinced that it is not only in certain stages but the whole game is bright/overexposed. If you look in the menus also the cars are too bright. Just look at the white cars. Details are barely visible b’cause the white colours are all overexposed. The other colours seem also very odd and cartoony. When i switch to HDR (wich i almost never use on my tv) it looks more natural but i have to lower the HDR brightness to 30. I now know that the new patch wil solve the overexposure in sertain tracks but i think it is in the whole game.

Tried it with the new patch 1.3 on PS5. For me the difference is very small. Still overexposed in different tracks. Tried to fiddle with my tv settings but with brightness down i get a very dark picture and it doesn’t affect the over exposure. All my other games look fine except this one. Is this game only made for HDR??? I understand that on PC you have lots of settings to fiddle with, but PS5 has only a brightness and HDR setting.

There's no way to fix this, no change with patch 1.3, it's still just as overexposed!

They need to actually disable / remove the culprit (auto-exposure) on their end, not tweak it for a couple of locations like they said they did. It's still active all over the game and is completely unrealistic with how the game is suddenly overexposed when you move the camera behind the windshield, and it's still a problem in every location, not just the brightest ones where it's the most obvious.
They implemented the feature all wrong, it should only be tied to some actual parts of a stage like the tunnel in Monte Carlo. NOT THE CARS THEMSELVES. It should be very simple for them to actually remove auto-exposure / eye adaptation entirely on their end, this needs to be hotfixed and taken out asap.

Don't care if the whole game has to be re-downloaded it because of their stupid mistake when building the game and how that junk wound up being wrongfully applied to all car interiors. If that's what it takes, that's what it takes. Do it right it this time, EA & Codemasters.
