V2.2.1 Clubs - Service "Save Scumming" Bug
Example: Your car receives terminal damage (Part Failure or Unrecoverable) on stage 1, and you have returned to the service area before stage 2. Fixing some parts of the car, then leaving and rejoining the event allows you to fix the remaining parts of the car you ignored from the "first" service. If you incurred any time penalties for going over the allotted time in the "first" service, these penalties are not included in the "second" service, as the game has forgotten the "first" service. Example: Your car receives terminal damage (Part Failure or Unrecoverable) on stage 4, and you have returned to the service area before stage 5. Leaving the club event and rejoining reloads damage incurred from stage 3, as well as critical/terminal damage from stage 4. Please remove them completely, and preferably in a hotfix asap before next month's patch, until perhaps a less obnoxious solution with far lower performance impact can be added later. Defaulting Car Reflections to Medium on the High and Ultra preset is not a fix for the negative performance issue. Doesn't help with how they fake and opaque they appear on screen, either. Very Low reflections are still fully broken, and anyone can bypass the severity of the more distracting reflection visuals on Low and above by removing the wheel+hands from cockpit view. Doing that is almost like disabling them, but you still don't get any performance improvement. It's just not projecting the hands, arms+wheel on the windshield. There's just no consistency there at all, and the performance of them being forced on is no doubt impacting the game's performance on consoles which are still suffering as well. Please get rid of them quickly, this is what should have been done in the last update. Instead, focus some effort into other immersion breaking issues from cockpit view, like how there's zero need to use wipers in snowfall, and rain barely impacts the windshield, too. The auto-exposure still needs to be removed in all vehicles and every location after 1.3.0 as well. Interior reflections should not incur a much larger performance hit than full on ray traced reflections have in entire scenes in other games on similar hardware. These bugs not to occur I'm very impressed with how the game is coming along so far (especially post-V1.6) but I think there's a few things that could be done to several cars to make it even better. I'm of the belief that sound is as important as anything in creating immersion - and I've found some of the cars' sounds ingame don't quite match the experienced RPM. The pitch from 4250rpm+ needs to scale linearly up to 8000rpm. F2 Kit Car Citroën Xsara Kit Car - Telemetry indicates 9,750 rpm redline for this car. I believe this may be a physics error, as I have not seen any footage of Xsaras running at 9,750 rpm - and I believe the sound was recorded with a 9000 rpm redline - but if this is not the case, the sound is about 750 rpm too low for the redline. Ford Escort Maxi - sound about 500rpm too low at redline (Pitch should match the Vauxhall Astra) Peugeot 306 Maxi - Telemetry indicates 11,000 rpm redline for this car. I believe this may be a physics error, as I have not seen any footage of 306 Maxis running at 11,000 rpm - and I believe the sound was recorded with a 9750rpm redline - but if this is not the case, the sound is about 1500rpm too low for the redline. Hello, I have a problem with EA Sports WRC 24 game installation. I bought EA SPORTS WRC 24 game on Epic Games Store and when I try to install it, then EA App opens up and gives me this error: "The title may have beed downloaded to your device by another user who owns the game. Log in to differrent account or restart the app to try again.". Epic Games Account which I bought the game from is linked to the right EA Account. How can I solve this problem? Rally Sweden is the only one that has only little issues with performance. All the other rallies have lots of frame rate drops, screen tearing and stuttering. Kenya is the worst one. Maybe unreal engine 5 wasn't good choice. I never had any issues with performance in dirt rally 2.0. How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You can find the bug by testing the performance by yourself. It's obvious in almost every rallies and every stages. What happens when the bug occurs? Lots of frame rate drops, screen tearing and stuttering. . Kenya is the worst one. It seems to worsen father you go to the stage. Can it be some graphic memory handling / buffering issue What do you expect to see? I expect you to release a patch that fixes the performance issues. Hi, I received my DD+ with GT Extreme wheel a few days ago, but the game doesn't recognize the wheel and I can't play, in the settings it doesn't display the wheel and doesn't receive any input, I can't navigate the menus or change gear while driving, the base is seen by the game, but as if it were a DD Pro, does anyone know if the game will be updated? Damage Difficulty changes to standard seetings after entering Career, Championship, Quick Play Solo. If you accelerate or brake the camera moves forward/backward. This is particularly bad for VR. Apparently it can be fixed by locking horizon but these two features should be separate as I don't want to lock horizon because it's actually worse than the head movement. How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game, disable camera shake, notice the camera still moves around when accelerating/braking. What happens when the bug occurs? Motion sickness since the camera is moving separately from the user's head. What do you expect to see?
