Hi, i have installed the patch today and had one run on the European rally and can report no tearing on that albeit just one run and a replay hopefully going forward things can be tested more thoroughly before being released.

Just got done testing several stages over the last 45 minutes and I’m happy to report that I only had one instance of a tiny amount of screen tearing, hardly noticeable. And I didn’t notice any frame drops at all. I would play more, but I have to get ready for work soon. I will be doing a bunch of playing/testing on my days off here in a few days, so hopefully everything holds up during my thorough testing.

First of all, I want to thank you for your hard work to make the game better. I tried an Iberia rally, and sadly, the screen tearing occurred several times. Not as badly as before the patch, but it was noticeable, and the frames also dropped. Still got screen tearing on ps5 Setup a 6 stage rally in Portugal and tearing appeared on one stage
- @9w3jln7gj55w How bad is it, would you say they have improved things with what i guess is a roll back. I have not had any more chance to test it today.
- @470fea2f8cdaf487 Only played that one rally and just seemed to happen on that one stage. But the AI is still not right
The game is now playable on PS5 i have test finland , europeen central , japon , italia and suede , no tearing , thanks for this update
Screen tearing is still happening on ps5 even after yous have said yous have fixed this with the latest update which is a load of bs. Please guys, I really suggest yous test these updates out before releasing them because yous are just looking embarrassing now. Worst thing happening was yous taking over wrc. Every game you get your hands on you end up messing up. Sort it out before I request a refund.
It is much better overall, but some stages are still unplayable, especially Monte Carlo, as soon as you hit the village areas its a bit of a flickering mess. And the pop in has become a lot more noticeable and distracting. Maybe a lower res performance mode would help? And i agree with another comment, lose the mirrors (they have zero use) and get rid of the crowds, most of them are not looking in the right direction anyway 🙄
