Summarize your bug Subpar 60FPS Stutter Screentearing
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game!! Any stage, any condition, any car, any game mode. Just play the game which you clearly don't before release.
What happens when the bug occurs? Screentearing. FPS drops. Stutter.
What do you expect to see? 60FPS at 4k Smooth gameplay No stutter No screentearing
WRC is advertised as "optimized for Series X/S" and at "4k 60fps" EVEN SAYS THIS ON THE CASE!!
It is not optimized for Series X/S as the framerate wouldn't drop and I wouldn't be getting screentearing and stutter on a 4k 60FPS tv!!!
I should be seeing smooth gameplay at 4k 60FPS.
This is false advertising!!!!
Update!!
Today's patch has helped but their the issue still remains.
Maybe they should try and reduce the settings such as turn mirrors off and defiantly lower the crowd density as the crowd quality is demanding on system resources.
Also why doesn't the game let us lock it at 60fps? The framerate is obvious not locked at 60 in game the game cause I wouldn't be getting screen tear on a 60Hz TV.
Actually enable some of the graphical feature settings in game so we can do your job and fix the game. Once and for all.
Tested yesterday on Sweden and the tearing is almost all gone. What remains for me, on PS5 is a rather low FPS that makes rather tiring to play.
Overall it improved although we are still far from a "next gen" game.
