On Quest 3 but there does not seem to be any option to play in VR. I feel like I have tried everything but is the option now hidden somewhere ? Does anyone have any clue how to turn on VR ? I tried putting -vr in the properties command line but that does nothing. Surely they have not removed VR already, it was very average but still it was playable and was hoping for some nice improvements in this new version 1.9 !
I think the only way to play right now is through Steam VR. Or at least the only way you get the "play in VR" message. I was using Windows Mixed Reality and I don't get that message anymore, and Steam VR sucks big time and it crashes all the time. I am soooo dissapointed, been waiting 2 weeks to play the game thinking it would have improved, and now I don't have WRC ☹️
On my Quest 3 the only method I had been playing prior to this update 1.9 was via StreamVR. But now there is no offer to enter VR at all from the Steam loading screens. I looked in options thinking they may have made it a checkbox in there but there is nothing and no reference to VR anywhere in the game. It is as if they have completely removed VR as an option. Now it was not the best graphically in VR but it was still playable and the only reason I purchased. This company EA is unfortunately the worst possible publisher for any racing or rally games because they are so unfriendly to the user. These forums are a perfect example where they ask for feedback but very rarely interact with their user base. I really wish Codemasters had never been taken over as they produced a much better product ie. Dirt Rally 1 & 2 before EA. The cause of all this now appears to be the anti-cheat system they needlessly embedded. They could have at least given us an offline option to play where such intrusive malware was not required and we would still have a VR option.
Since V1.9 the message asking if you want to play in VR or not is no longer displayed, a message that was displayed when launching the game before this terrible v1.9.
We can no longer play in VR, same for me on Quest 3, impossible to launch the game in VR!

Quest 3 user here, and I have no issues about the launcher game.
The game still asking me for the VR version, when I lunch the game. Simple open the Virtual Deskop app on Quest and launch the game, choose the VR mode on prompt.
Via Quest Link it's the same, zero problems on launcher.
