After 1.9, no longer allows VR on WMR HMD's like HP Reverb and Samsung Odyssey

My game ran fine before the update but since then I am unable to run on my Reverb G2. As soon as I select the VR option there is no longer audio though I can navigate the menu screens. As soon as I go to the panoramic screens or am placed in the car the game crashes every time. 

I have seen other people post about running the WRC and anticheat exe as administrator, also to set SteamVR as the OpenXR Runtime and I have tried all this. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times but not resolved it.

I also have a Pico 4 and can run the game at very low resolutions on it, but not on the G2.

You can, but those able to answer (Developers) seemingly won´t answer.

It´s now 2 weeks after the release of this VR breaking patch, and nothing has happened from the Developers side.

There doesn´t seem to be much interest from EA (Codemasters) to fix this.

No longer VR prompt either. Quest 2 user.

On august 8th, VR works again!

i have the same problem with my meta quest 3 headset.

I am meta quest 3 user and i cant run the game in VR...

same here, I can't believe what they did. Updated and I can't play it in WMR and Steam VR will crash... this game was so much fun and they ruined it

Ive been able to get it to not crash on my Reverb G2 when loaded into the car by lowering the game video settings to low and my Steam VR eye resolution to around 48%, but I still have no audio. Have any of you G2 users got audio issues?
