Game crashes after stage load

Quest 3 + RTX 4090. Right after stage load game crashes to desktop without any messages. No settings altered.

    Hey there,
     
    Thank you all for reporting your crashes. The team is currently investigating this issue. Meanwhile, you can disable the OpenXR toolkit by using the OpenXR app in Windows as a workaround.
     
    You can disable the OpenXR Toolkit with incompatible applications as shown in the image, but we also recommend you to tick the option at the top "Disable the OpenXR Toolkit"
     
     
    We will update this thread as soon as we have more information.

  • are you playing using SteamVR or Oculus OpenXR?
  • are you playing wired or wireless?

Just for anyone experiencing this (on 4080 super, Quest 3 at 90hz, 1.5x), I was experiencing the crash, but managed to get it to work, with some combination of:

- had to disable OpenXR Toolkit (https://mbucchia.github.io/OpenXR-Toolkit/) (which was imo the cause of a lot of issues). It will run in the BG if you have it installed, even if you don't run it.
- running the "main" app as small "windowed"
- disabled the "use 3d for start of stage preview" (not exactly the name, something similiar, don't remember the name, and I'm back at work)
- running on high/ultra preset (not sure it's relevant, but just in case one of the settings inside here was causing the crash)

Also - for a while turning on the upscaler was causing a crash at the start of the stage, but it would run without it, but at the end I ended up with settings where I could enable or disable the upscaler and it was still working, so beats me what combination caused the start crash
