Not running as it should in VR

I'm having a problem in WRC and playing in VR. I have a really good setup comprising of an AM5 Ryzen 9 processor, RTX 4080 superoverclock, 128GB DDR5 memory and running from M.2 SSD.
I find that no matter what settings I choose, my HTC Vive Pro 2 just stutters. It's mainly during loading, which tends to hurt my eyes as the displays become unbalanced but I do have a brurred line across the screen when racing. With my current setup I should be able to max out all my settings on any game but I am really struggling to get WRC to run good in VR. I haven't tried the 2D version as I am not interested in that.

All the F1 titles run seamlessly, even when all settings are maxed out.

I'd really like to figure out what is going on with this so I can continue playing.
