yep has been occuring in 2D mode and impacts VR mode, i haven't yet confirmed if it's only certain systems having the issue or just that many don't notice, been posting about it here:

However it has definitely been occuring since before 1.6.0, possibly since release, I noticed my Ryzen 7 5800X3D seemed to be impacted by it more severely than my Ryzen 5 3600 (the older CPU had the slowdown appear briefly, but seemed to recover).
Ys, I have this too and I too switched from 3600 to 5800x3d. Can't say for sure that was the exact momnet these screen tearings started to appear. Strange thing is that the scree tearing continues even after I shut down the game. I don't have this in any other game.
Going through Airlink, since SteamLink crashes the SteamVR for me constantly.
