Late stage performance drops are a VERY big problem in VR

I'll be running at a locked 60fps for all the stage, until I get to the last 1km or 0.5 km, and then I start getting dropped frames like crazy and it is very hard to play. It's easy to confirm it'...

I suffer the same. It's not all stages but most.

It basically renders the game unplayable in VR for me as it ruins the last section of any run.

I hadn't noticed the issue in 2D myself but I guess it's possible.
