Steering wheel of Builder Car in VR not moving

I build a car in career mode and tested all of the available steering wheels. All of them are turned 90° right and not moving at all.
This also makes it hard to watch the gear and rpm etc.

Also finishing the build and testing it in races did not change anything. Still no movement of the steering wheel.
